Tournament Format

• Friday: Pool Play

• Saturday: Gold & Silver Bracket Play

• Eight total teams

• NFHS rules govern play unless otherwise noted

Pool B: PCS, NICS, KTSI, SCCS

Games will run on a rolling schedule to maintain on-time completion.
 

Pool Play Game Format (Friday)

• 5-minute quarters

• 3-minute halftime

• Standard NFHS rules apply

• Overtime (if necessary): one 2-minute period

• If a game is delayed due to injury or equipment malfunction, tournament management may adjust start times or locations to keep the event on schedule.

 

Pool Play Tie-Breaker Procedure

• Ties resolved using Mountain Christian League Limited Victory Margin (LVM) procedures

• Two-team ties: head-to-head result

• Three-team ties: LVM points and defensive criteria (per MCL policy)

• Victory margins are capped to discourage running up the score

• If unresolved, lots will be drawn

Gold Bracket

Top two teams from each pool advance.

Crossover matchups (to avoid Friday rematches):

• Pool A #1 vs Pool B #2

• Pool B #1 vs Pool A #2

• Determines 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

• Trophies awarded
