Bracket Play
Tournament Format
Ten teams will compete in three pools during Friday pool play.
• Pool A – four teams
• Pool B – three teams
• Pool C – three teams
Pool assignments are based on regular season results.
After Friday pool play, teams will advance into either the Gold Bracket or Silver Bracket for Saturday bracket play.
Gold Bracket (Championship)
Four teams advance to the Gold Bracket.
• 1st Place – Pool A
• 1st Place – Pool B
• 2nd Place – Pool A
• 2nd Place – Pool B
These four teams compete in a single-elimination bracket for the MCL Championship.
Silver Bracket
The remaining six teams advance to the Silver Bracket.
• 3rd Place – Pool A
• 3rd Place – Pool B
• 4th Place – Pool A
All Of Pool C
This bracket determines final tournament placement for the remaining teams.
Pool Play Game Format
Pool A:
• Two 7-minute halves
• 3-minute halftime
Pool's B & C
• Two 10-minute halves
• 3-minute halftime
Timeouts (Applies to all Pools)
Each team receives:
• Two full timeouts
• One 30-second timeout
Overtime (Applies to all Pools)
• First overtime: 2 minutes
If the game remains tied: Sudden Death Overtime
• Begins with a jump ball at center court
• First team to score or go ahead by two points wins
• If the game ends on free throws, the shooter must make both free throws to end the game

Pool play seeding will be determined by the athletic directors based on season results and a general consensus on team rankings.

Fouls
• Bonus free throws begin at 5 team fouls per half
• Players foul out after 4 personal fouls
